...the I have internet friends closet. It was inevitable really. With my trip to NY coming up the questions have been coming thick and fast as to who, whooooo I could possibly be seeing. For a time I was able to get away with friends who I have known for a few years excuse. Which is true. I have been on the "other site" (is that what the cool kids are calling it?) for more then a few years. So has Miss CJ and all the other siters I hope to see this summer at crowfest. However after yet more questioning of how I met my friends I eventually got tired of skirting the issue and said on the internets. "Oh" they said. Amused by their obviously wary reaction I decided to come clean and tell them that I had never acutally met any of these lovely friends in rl. So now they obviously think I am travelling to some terrible demise. *sigh*
More tales of the crazy bride.
Once I told my friends of my trip I was talkng about my travel arrangements. My passport is due for renewal next year. With the extra security arrangements that come with travelling to the US I need to upgrade my passport to have that embedded id strip thingamy in it. Of course when I told friends of this crazy bride snapped that might take weeks and what happened if it didn't arrive in time for her wedding. I wouldn't be able to go to greece to do her hair of course. So I have agreed to hold off on renewing my passport until I get back from greece. That still leaves roughly 6-7 weeks until NY. I should have enough time to get it all done. However I cannot book my plane ticket until I have my new passport as another annoying security precaution is that I have to give my passport number when booking the ticket. Gah! So now I have to wait til june to book the ticket. As someone who likes to have everything organised well in advance this is not sitting well. I am determined to go, its wrecking my head that bridezilla has once again thrown a strop. Its easier to give in then to put up with the moaning and guilt trips that will ensue. *deep breaths*
