I'm sure all that is on your dad's mind, too. Give him a few days and hopefully he'll feel better. All the stress and unhappiness of the past year has no doubt worn down his immune system. Maybe make him some nice bland chicken soup?
I was thinking about trying Curves if I can get around giving them my credit card - I've heard with the "free trial" that they actually sign you on! I've also considered getting myself a used stationary bike/treadmill/machine for Valentine's Day - everyone should be selling the ones they bought themselves for Christmas/New Year's by then...
