I should really be in bed. I should really have had a more productive day then I did. Shoulda coulda woulda I guess. Anyways a +/- post because I should really have done a proper one :)
+ I got the flu jab
+ It was free in work
+ It really didn't hurt and only took 30 seconds
- I'm having a reaction as they warned me some people would have
- It's a raised red patch on my arm with the needle hole in the centre. Think a laaarge hive
- It also feels like theres bugs under it itching to get out
+ Yay though I will be able to visit old aunt without worrying about passing flu on
- I haven't rung her in months and feel very guilty. Keeping up with the family was one of Mam's talents. I am a terrible phone conversationlist.
+ Went to the library today
- They only had some of the books I needed
+ They wangled me a pin number so I can reserve the books I need online free
- Have 3 essays due in 3 weeks for college.
- Am worried because I've never done this type of thing before and the lecturers as usual are less then helpful
- Also have a negotiation role play thing on Monday which I am dreading. I am the only person in the team who english is a 1st language to.
- Also hate arguing.
+ Found out the library have a writing group and a book club all free to join
- Won't be able to think about joining until after college
+ Saw a flyer on learning how to knit in the library
- Apparently it was a class on the 23rd of September
+/- I think a saw a phone number on it so am sure I could arrange a private class if needs be. Guivers beautiful work has inspired me to learn more then the basic stitch.
+ Have so much crappy housework stuff to do tommorow
- I bought a lush bath bomb so I can treat myself after getting it all done
+ I also get to dye my hair
- I have the mother of all spots on my forehead right between my eyes
+ Thankfully I can hermit myself at home for a day so I can alternate between soaking the area in hot water and using my prescription strength acne be gone lotion. This sucker is getting popped.
Oh and a random request, I read a while ago about how different areas of the face correspond to different parts of the body. For example your chin area corresponds to your digestive tract. Basically the gist is if you have lots of acne/boils/ flaky skin etc on one area of your face you should look at the part of the body it relates to and try and improve that. I can't for the life of me remember where I saw it and google is throwing up nada. Has anyone else heard of this?

Date: 2008-10-19 03:19 pm (UTC)Trying to remember about other areas. I think that the forehead is related to the pancreas. The neck is pure stress...I'll never forget having a huge zit on my neck for MONTHS that wouldn't go away, then cleared up two days after I quit my job. The cheeks are related to something as well, but can't remember. If you're only breaking out on one side of the cheek, then it's probably bacteria on your phone or pillow case. Dark circles under the eyes are related to the liver, which is why we get them bad on days we're hungover.
Raspberry leaf tea is good for balancing out hormones if you're breaking out on your chin. Make sure it's rapsberry leaf and not just a raspberry flavoring. Drink a TON of it. Make a quart iced and drink that too if it's easier. You'll see a big difference.
